We sincerely congratulate you on your release! For us, who were still children when you were imprisoned, your release is an extremely important event.

During the two years that we spent in prison, your support was incredibly important to us. The time that we spent behind bars leaves us not full of anger, but rather, compelled to act. It is our duty now to make sure that “human rights” will cease to be an empty phrase for other political prisoners.

We believe that together with you, we would be able to use our experience gained within the Russian prison system to set off a chain reaction of positive developments in the field of human rights in our country. We would be honored to work co-operatively with you in the future to protect these human rights.
