CNN’s Christiane Amanpour Interviews Pavel KhodorkovskyJune 25, 2013Share: Asked by Amanpour what his father would do if and when he is freed, Mr. Khodorkovsky explained that he and his father see the situation differently.“I would call on him to leave Russia, because I think that is going to be a safety concern for him. But of course, my father’s opinion is completely different,” he said. “He repeats time and again that he will not leave Russia, that this is his country, and it’s the place for him to be. And he has many things to do to build up the civil society, like what he used to do with the Open Russia foundation. So that’s his plan. To help our country move along.”Watch CNN’s Christiane Amanpour interview Pavel Khodorkovsky here.
