According to the Russian news agency, ITAR-TASS, the Presidium of the Arkhangelsk regional court will review Platon Lebedev’s early release prospects around March 20 this year.

The information was released by the Court’s press office, however, Lebedev’s lawyer, Vladimir Krasnov, stated that the defence team hasn’t been officially informed of the dates of the proceedings. The review by the Arkhangelsk Court was initiated by Russia’s Supreme Court in 2013. Krasnov also stated that the defence team has not yet received a copy of the relevant Supreme Court ruling. Krasnov argued that the uncertain date stated in the Court’s press release leaves the situation regarding the parole review unclear.
