The visit to Stockholm coincides with the publication of Khodorkovsky’s collection of short prison stories My Fellow Prisoners in Swedish. The book has previously been published in Russia, the Unites States, the United Kingdom as well as a number of other European countries.
The book has been widely reviewed by Swedish media.
“The stories give a dreadful picture of lawlessness that rides unchecked, where the theft of a bottle of wine can result in death in prison [They] are entirely unsentimental. In its simplicity the language is especially striking. It is a small book but it has a big weight.” (Ernst Klein, Östgöta Correspondenten)
