“Khodorkovsky” Documentary Shown in London

January 25, 2013

Over 100 people attended the screening of Cyril Tuschi’s documentary “Khodorkovsky”, held on 24 October, 2013, at the University of London’s Institute of Advanced Legal Studies. The event was coordinated by the CIS Working Group of Solicitors’ International Human Rights Group and the ‘Speak Up’ International movement.

The film features the pre-trial events that led Khodorkovsky from being Russia’s most successful businessman to being its best known political prisoner. It includes an exclusive interview with Khodorkovsky, taken during the second trial (the only one of its kind) as well as contributions from major political insiders and journalists.

Yelena Durden-Smith, the producer of the film, attended the screening to speak about the production of the documentary and to take questions from the audience.
