After the death of three Russian journalists in the Central African Republic in August 2018, Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Leonid Nevzlin set up the Justice for Journalist fund. Criminal investigations into the deaths of Alexander Rastorguyev, Kirill Radchenko and Orkhan Jemal have been halted by Russian authorities. Independent journalism is a threat to Kremlin authority. These three men amongst other have paid the ultimate price for their commitment to real journalism.
