Mikhail Khodorkovsky has sent his thanks to MEPs for their kind presents and personal messages on his 50^th birthday.

Members of the European Parliament sent copies of their books to mark the occasion, each including a personal greeting and signature.

The books have been delivered to Khodorkovsky’s mother, Marina Philippovna.
