On 15-16 January, Lithuania’s Foreign Ministry in cooperation with the Eastern European Studies Centre, is presenting the second annual Russia Forum that aims to develop a dialogue with representatives of the Russian civil society.
On Friday, 16 January, at 10:00 AM GMT Mikhail Khodorkovsky will be a guest speaker of a joint discussion of the participants of the Snow Meeting and Vilnius Intellectuals Forum. The speech will be live-streamed on www.openrussia.org and www.khodorkovsky.ru in Russian (no English subtitles).
The event will be attended by almost 70 participants, including Mikhail Kasyanov, former Russian Prime Minister, Boris Nemtsov, a well-known Russian politician, Russian academics and researchers like Lilia Shevtsova, Andrey Piontkovski, Andrey Ilarionov, Andrei Zubov, as well as public figures and journalists.
The participants will debate on the civil society in Russia, protection of Western society and values from Russia’s aggressive behaviour, and relationship between the West and Russia.
