Interviews from Khodorkovsky and his lawyer Yuri Schmidt. Khodorkovsky is a political prisoner according to Amnesty International. However the European Court of Human Rights was too afraid that Russia would withdraw from the European convention to recognise the political motivation behind Khodorkovsky’s arrest and detention. Khodorkovsky was an oligarch but is now a dissident like Sakharov.
