He was forced to confront the questions regarding his mansion. Navalny’s documentary reopened a years old wound.

In recent weeks, Russia saw unprecedented numbers of people out on the snowy streets, not just in Moscow, but all over the country. The photos of Putin’s mansion, complete with pictures of underground floors, a hookah bar and private theater, pushed the country over the edge. This dissatisfaction is just the beginning.
