Russian Intellectuals Give Their Opinions On Russia’s Realities

The Khodorkovsky Press Centre in Russia has conducted a sequence of video interviews with prominent Russian intellectuals on topics such as the on-going debate around the proposed amnesty for businessmen convicted for economic crimes by Business Ombudsman, Boris Titov, the May 6, 2012/2013 Bolotnaya Square protests, the ‘foreign agents’ law and the crack-down on NGOs, and the continued imprisonment of Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Platon Lebedev.

Interviews were recorded with the Head Researcher of the Higher School of Economics, Eugeniy Yasin, human rights activists, Irina Yasina and Lev Ponomarev, journalist Olga Romanova and popular Russian satirist, writer, scriptwriter and radio host, Victor Shenderovich.
