With the 50^th birthday of Mikhail Khodorkovsky fast approaching, both his prominent Russian supporters and ordinary members of the public have sent him video letters as part of the “Write Letters” project.  Among those who recorded their birthday wishes are Dr. Yevgenia Albats, a Russian investigative journalist, political scientist, writer and radio host; Natalia Gevorkyan, a journalist, writer and co-author of Khodorkovsky’s “Prison and Freedom”; the Dzyadko family – Victor, Zoya, Filipp, Timofei, Tikhon and Anna along with the Chernyshovy, Egorovy and Arkady Mayofis families – ordinary Russian people wanting to show their support.

Video clips were shot by Vera Krichevskaya, a journalist and co-founder of the Russian TV channel “Rain”.
