Lebedev’s Lawyer to Present New Book on Yukos Case in London

Konstantin Rivkin, a lawyer representing Platon Lebedev, will present his new book on the Khodorkovsky and Lebedev case in London this Monday, May 13. In the book, entitled “Khodorkovsky, Lebedev and all the rest”, Rivkin summarises his experiences during eight years working on the case.

The Russian monthly magazine, Sovershenno Secretno, has described Rivkin’s writings as a legal and political diagnosis of today’s Russia.

The book is dedicated to the memory of Vasily Alexanyan, a Yukos executive who died in 2011 as a result of the denial of essential medical treatment during his pre-trial detention.

The presentation is hosted by the “Speak Up! international movement, as part of a series of talks called the “Khodorkovsky readings”.
