Statements of Support (2003-2013) / Schulz, Werner
“The recently adopted laws by a still not legitimized Duma are a setback for Russia. These laws are tendentious and intentionally ambiguously worded, in order to open the floodgates to an arbitrary justice. This is shown by the terrible trials against Khodorkovsky and Pussy Riot or the criminal persecution and the terrible death of Sergey Magnitsky. Whether a crime is prosecuted in Russia does not depend on the deed but on whether the trial is convenient or even useful for the ruling elite”
